Explanation of Personal Data Use
By subscribing to our Performance Insights product, you consent to the display of your Business Central usernames to portal users authorized by you. As part of Performance Insights functionality, you also consent to authorized portal users viewing, filtering, printing, and exporting the Business Central usernames involved in various performance incidents, along with related performance metrics. You have the right to revoke the use of Business Central usernames, either partially or fully, in writing. Please email your request to sales@SQLMantraTools.com.
Telemetry and Application Performance Monitoring (Performance Insights for Business Central 365)
To monitor performance of your Business Central system, our Performance Insights product processes diagnostic data. This includes mapping your Business Central User Name to an internal Telemetry User ID within the performance dashboard.
- Purpose: This mapping allows your authorized portal users to display, filter, and troubleshoot application performance metrics, system latency, or system incidents down to specific Business Central user initiated actions.
- Access and Visibility: This data is securely containerized by tenant. The mapping between a real world Business Central User Name and its corresponding Telemetry ID is strictly private. It is only visible to your organization or your explicitly authorized portal users. It is never exposed to third parties or other organizations.
- Data Retention and Location: SQL Mantra Tools does not permanently retain these telemetry logs. Telemetry data is held and accessible securely within the Microsoft Azure platform for a rolling period of 30 days, after which it is automatically purged. This 30-day period applies specifically to the performance telemetry described above and does not apply to Historic AI Analysis (the diagnostic recommendations generated at your request via "Ask AI for Fix"), which may be retained for a longer period as necessary to support ongoing historical performance comparison, and does not itself contain personal data.
- Data Processing Limits: This system telemetry is utilized solely for technical performance optimization and diagnostic troubleshooting. It is never used for user profiling, tracking across unrelated applications, or marketing tracking.
